I bought this less than 5 years ago and paid a good amount, I had to return within a year and it is not working again and the company I bought it from will not take it back in February 2020. I really like the functionality of this but it sits in its box and do I toss or I hope Honeywell can help.

Said it was brand new, but it had been programmed already as a heat pump - began blowing hot air despite the cool being on - had to call a technician to reprogram.
The unit initialized just as it was supposed to. So far there have been no problems. it was easy to set up.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Decided not to connect to our wifi. I went through the steps to sign into the wifi signal and it says the password MUST be between 8-64 characters. Bad news, our wifi password is 6 characters, it wont sign in, gives and error message.

It's a Honeywell and it works great

I recently had a problem with my heat pump (it quit working lol) turns out the google nest therm I was using for three years conked out and it blew a resistor on the control board of said heat pump. Didn't use my typical fix-it guy and called the pros. I called ALL the pros in the area-they all agree on two things. Google should stick to emails, and Honeywell is a household name for hvac for a reason. They really are that good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

bought new with a new A/C system. Liked the old thermostat (same but non wifi capable) and decided to try the new wifi thing. Went to register and get on the app and decided not to as they wanted the A/C company to monitor the system, among many other onerous things etc.. obviously this was set up for others benefit not the users. Want the government to decide what temperature you can set at, then join up with this ridiculously non private wifi itneraction where eveyone is able to monitor your actions with the tstat. Wasted my money on this one.
