DEAD Wi-Fi

This thing will NOT hold a Wi-Fi connection. It won't even connect to any Wi-Fi anymore.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Changed network issues

The thermostat worked well until we changed networks. It won't let me change the settings to the new network online or on the device. Not impressed.

Not owner friendly

Over-priced unit that lacks features

I do not recommend. This thermostat is double the price of a Sensi (Emerson) wifi thermostat that I bought more than 10 years ago that had 5 times the functionality. The installers like these and talk you into them, but they are in a time warp from 30 years ago. I suspect that the other reviews that complain about the wifi connectivity are just not correctly connecting it to a 2.4GHz network. This device does seem to do that successfully.

Extremely limited WIFI capabilities.

I had no problem installing 10 of these thermostats and connecting it to the internet but the WiFi features are extremely limited to the point they are essentially useless. You can not adjust the program over wifi. You can not copy a program or schedule from one thermostat to another. You can't do much more than change the manual set point or turn the fan from Auto to On. There have to be better thermostats out there that give you some BMS functions. This stat gets a 0/10 from me on this capability. The functionality of this stat is what I would expect from a smart High School student just starting to get into progrmamming, not at all what I would expect from Honeywell.

Terrible wifi

Wi Fi feature is a real pain in the butt. Won't stay connected despite strong signal. Spent over an hour fooling around with router settings, rebooting router and modem, rebooting stat, but no joy it won't stay online. Says "not registered". What a piece of junk and frustrating to work with. Also the temperature setting is not very accurate. Other than that, it's great (sarcasm).

This thermostat is a couple steps up from my previous model. Handles more day / night scheduling and allows remote management via your phone or iPad. I’m still lacking some minor adjustments during the late afternoon and early morning but overall, I’m happy with this model. The adjustments I speak of would be nice to allow interface with voice. As of now, I make those adjustments manually via my iPad.
