If you are looking for an entry level Japanese knife this is a good one to try. The Miyabi Koh, has a traditional Japanese looking handle that will actually fit comfortably
in the right or left hand. Unlike a true D shaped handle, it will not roll for lefties. Although a bread knife is not typically Japanese, it fits nicely with the set.

superior cutting

This is a great serrated knife. The handle has a unique design and is very comfortable to hold. The steel goes through a double hardening process making a durable and very sharp blade. The Japanese blade making techniques make a blade with a thin profile that is great for slicing bread, tomatoes, melon, citrus and anything else with a harder outside and softer interior. It gives thin straight cuts.

Beautiful craftsmanship
