The battery life is ridiculously horrible. What is the point of having features on a watch if you need to turn them off to get through the night even when at 50%? Which btw, the charge a divice with your Samsung phone doesn't work on this watch. Samsung Health is not any better and often worse than the other health monitoring apps out there. I wish I had never bought it. It's n

At first I was hesitant because I already had the Samsung 6 but I figured why not trade it in. I'm obsessed with my new watch! I love the bigger screen because I can text easier with my long nails. I love the new features and comfortable band.
I love my upgraded watch. It helps keep track of all my health and workouts. I also like the tricks that I can do on this watch. I'm happy I brought this
Cannot get it to sync with my Samsung S 20 phone tried for hours.

Howdy Gary, Thanks for taking the time to reach out about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Watch8. We appreciate your feedback as we continue to improve the functionality and performance of our product line. While some Samsung watches can be set up and used without a phone, all of them can be used with the Galaxy Wearable app on a compatible phone. To make the most out of your watch or even navigate its settings on a bigger screen, it is recommended that you pair your watch to a compatible phone. If your watch will not pair to a phone, or if it randomly disconnects, restart your watch. You should also make sure the Galaxy wearable app is up to date, but it may be necessary to reset the app and unpair your watch. Please feel free to check out the resources shared below to help resolve what you may be experiencing with your setup. If you have any questions for us or if you would like any further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to Samsung Support. Thanks for choosing Samsung! - Debra

In the short time i have had it...it is a well put together and light weight watch. It integrated with my phone and apps very well. Connection to my phone and to my cell provider was seamless. I still have alot to learn about it...just taking it one day at a time.
I utilizes the watch daily. The watch has to be charged every night, if not it runs out in the mid day or sooner.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
