I bought this unit to control humidty in a garage where I'm storing wood flooring. So far it's done an excellent job of managing the humidity here in central Florida during the summer. It's cover 1500 sq ft with 11ft ceilings and having no issues maintaing humidity in the 40% range. I'm sure it could drive lower but not needed for my use case.
I was skeptical on this purchase because I wanted a commercial unit but didn’t want to spend the commercial price. I put this unit in my basement that roughly 1,500 sqft. Overkill compared to what the unit was rated for but I wanted a unit that wouldn’t run all the time like my last residential (Lowe’s) dehumidifier. Overall this unit is exceeding my expectations. Longevity is my only unknown right now. I hope it continues to operate as it is for many years.
The built-in pump is one of the features I like most. I can run the drain hose up to a sink and let it drain continuously without having to worry about where the unit is positioned. It has been pulling out plenty of moisture and keeping the humidity under control. The controls are straightforward and the whole setup has worked really well for me.
I've been using this in my basement to deal with the extra moisture, and it has made a noticeable difference. The basement feels drier and the humidity stays at a much more consistent level. The built-in pump is especially convenient since I can run the drain hose where I need it without relying on a nearby floor drain. It also runs fairly quietly for its size. Overall, its been a dependable unit and a good fit for my basement.
After dealing with water damage in the house, I needed something that could run continuously and remove a lot of moisture. I had this running for several weeks and it handled the job without any issues. It pulled out an impressive amount of moisture and stayed consistent the entire time. Very dependable when I needed it most.
