This is the second rugged book in a row that never closes all the way unless I manually push the hinge. The problem occurs because the iPad slides out slightly from the groove holding it; there not tight enough of a hold that the hinge comes all the way forward when you close it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Awful keyboard fell off unable to put back on

I had to send back. Right after I received it and open up the case the keyboard fell off and unable to put back on. It was very hard to open. I liked the old Zagg case much better without the removable keyboard!

After some time using the lighter weight Keyboard Cover for my iPad, I decided to upgrade. I am exceptionally pleased with the Rugged Book cover for my Gen 10 iPad. Ultimate convenience with the multi-position opening of the iPad enclosed top, the freedom to remove top from keyboard to use as a stand alone iPad and easily reattach, the lighted keyboard is perfect for low light use (love the optional choices for key light colors) and the firm fit and protection for my iPad!
