This is my second Rugged Book. My last one traveled with me for five years before the back spring broke. I consider the Rugged Book an essential part of my iPAD ecosystem.

This thing is awesome. Feels like a laptop, very durable, but quite easy to remove and use like an iPad. The other magnetic ones on the market either didn’t protect the iPad enough or weren’t stable enough as they needed to be on a flat level surface, which I rarely have during my work in patient care. I tried a few brands and the zagg keyboard is also really nice to touch and use.

This is my second Zagg Rugged Book, and they are the best! They are a bit heavy but it’s meant to be that way. I find it hard to separate the ipad from the keyboard, but don’t think I’ll be doing that much anyway. The keys don’t loose their silkscreen which is great because sometime I need to look at the keyboard to see where things are. And, very happy they added the backlight for the keys!

Love this new Rugged Book keyboard/case! Bought it to replace my last one, which I had 8 years and used for about 3 hours/day before the space bar started acting up. This new one is even sturdier.
