Over the years, I have purchased different Zagg keyboards for my different iPads. I like the Rugged Book the best because: 1) it provides the most protection, 2) the keyboard is the most veratile (you can put the iPad screen at whatever angle you chose and stays in place), 3) has backlit keys, 4) has the feel and sound of a desktop computer keyboard, and 5) is a great price. I would like to see the backlighting of the keys a little bit brighter and an on/off button to turn them on. I think the backlights were brighter on a Rugged Book I had years ago - at least that’s what I remember. These are just improvements on an already superior product. The Rugged is better than any other keyboard out there.

Out of the box, feels sturdy, sturdy enough for teen use. Removing the iPad part from the keys is difficult as well as attaching it back on. The latches when opening and closing are very stiff. Those three things right there are ease of use issues, make it a 2 star for me.

This is my 3rd Zagg keyboard and cover and they have all been excellent. The battery last for months without recharging, keyboard is comfortable and much more convenient for me on flights to take my ipad and this cover-keyboard than my laptop. I haven’t tried dropping it, so someone else will have report in on that one.

This functions very well, but the keyboard could have a softer touch and be quieter. The unit is quite heavy, but the protection for my ipad is great! Hopefully the joint between the keyboard and the ipad cover will be more durable than my last one!!

Recently as the owner of an Apple iPad Air 2 with a Zagg Keyboard which I very much liked, I purchased an Apple 10th Gen iPad and again I purchased a ZAGG keyboard for it. As much as I like the previous keyboard, the current one is like night and day, as to the “Feel” of the keyboard and its responsiveness. One will never go wrong in attaching ones iPad to this quality product.
