I've had a zagg rugged book for nearly every ipad I've owned. I can count on them for being solid and sturdy. The last two have broken at the hinge, but compared to the other covers on the market, zagg rugged book is still the best.

My second one

This is the second Rugged Book I have had. The first one got lots of use and I guess I just wore it out; the hinge finally wore out.
When I received the new one, I liked the new design of the outside, and my first thought on the keyboard was that the changes there were sexy. BUT…I preferred the backlighting of the keyboard on the previous one to the letters being lit on the current one. My biggest disappointment however is with the touch on the keyboard. It is still an easy and responsive keyboard to type on, and as a very fast typist I love that, however the new one is quite loud and “clacky.” Sometimes I take notes at events in an app on the iPad. I won’t be able to do that now, as the sound of typing would be quite annoying to anyone nearby. I don’t even like how loud it is when I am by myself, but it is definitely distracting if I am working while my husband is reading or watching tv. Really annoying. Don’t know why that part was changed, but I’m not stoked at all.

Zagg Keyboard

I purchased the keyboard for my new iPad Pro (I had another Zagg keyboard for my old iPad and really like the Zagg keyboard much better than the one that Apple makes for the iPad). I also like the hard case (better protection). The keyboard doesn't light up as brightly as the old one. And is there a manual available for download?

The part that opens and closes will not close when you close the I pad and the Rugged Book unless you force it with your hand. Poor quality..

This is my third purchase from your company. The second purchase functions well because I don't use that often. The first purchase, the hinges failed. This third is a new tablet. We'll see.

I have had Zagg covers for all 3 of my Ipads. over the years. The rugged cover with keyboard is wonderful. I love the keyboard and the protection of the cover. I have dropped my Ipad a couple times. Never any damage to cover or the Ipad. I love Zagg products…
