I love this case/solution for my iPad and pencil. It’s a pretty tough product. My only issue is the Apple Pencil will charge in the case. You have to peel back the case to charge. I did find another charging method to avoid that challenge.

It’s ruggedness although heavy, and the variable hinged opening, make it perfect for me to use in my lap, in bed or on a table top.

Too Hard to Set Up

It is much too difficult to get my iPad into the part of Rugged Book that protects it. I’ve tried everything but it takes too much strength. I’m still trying to find someone who can help me with it.

As rugged as it gets

I've used the Rugged Book at work for years on a helicopter fire crew and it's absolutely great. Eventually, I purchased one for personal use and it was complete garbage. The folding mech didn't work right, battery life was terrible and just after a year the bluetooth started acting up and many of the keys quit working. I reluctantly purchased another (after being told it was out of warranty) and I'm happy to report, it seems much better quality and is working perfectly... there really is nothing else like it; it's as rugged as it gets.

I like how durable it is. Works well. Wish it had a trackpad, but needed the heavy duty case. Great so far.
