After a little bit of trial and error with other Zagg cases I finally found this case. This case is really a great, rugged case. I really like also that you can detach the IPAD from the keyboard to make it more lightweight and portable. Pairing the case with a screen protector is really good. I also really like how the battery percentage shows on the iPad so its not a guess.

Excellent case and keyboard

I got the Zagg Pro Keys (folding/flip out style detachable case with my iPad Air 4th generation and it didn’t cut it. It seemed flimsy for continuously opening and shutting (mobile). It was broken in 4 months of household use. I scrapped it and replaced it with the Zagg Rugged Book and have zero complaints. It stays charged, allows me to take my iPad Air 4 anywhere with confidence, and has well thought out features (volume, playlist forward/reverse) excellent backlighting, etc.). I’d recommend the Rugged Book for anyone who wants a durable keyboard/case. I love it!

Heavy Duty iPad Cover

I bought the Rugged Book cover for my iPad mainly because Zagg was out of the Rugged Messenger cover that I wanted to get, mainly because the RM was less money to buy. But, now that I have the RB, it is a significant upgrade from the RM which will provide better protection for my iPad. The keyboard works great. Although the RB is heavier than the RM, its only a few ounces more, but it will provide much greater protection if I drop the unit. I would buy RB again.

I got this because I needed something a little more sturdy than what Apple was offering. I love the light up keyboard and the fact that I can change the colors of the lights. I also really love how flexible the entire set-up is while also making it easier to type while on my lap or on the go. I love how long the battery lasts (took it out of the box about 2 weeks ago and haven’t needed to put in on the charger yet). I also really appreciate how quickly it connects to the iPad.
