I replaced with the same after 10 years. The original Rugged IPAD cover would have still worked…if I would not have spilled coffee on the keyboard!

Cheap plastic and very heavy. Difficult to adjust angle of screen. Inserting iPad and removing it is very time consuming.

Same design flaw issues as previous Rugged Books

I have returned three previous ones because the hinge has a basic design flaw. It tightens up as you use it to where opening and closing repeatedly will crack the slot that holds the iPad. If you leave it open, you'll be fine, but if you are carrying it around and have to open and close repeatedly, expect it to last a year. Otherwise it does protect the iPad, but it is quite difficult to insert the Ipad and I could expect many folks will crack the screen attempting it. Finally, all previous models came with a charging case. Can't believe they skimped on a .50¢ cord and I have to alternate with other devices

This is the second Zagg book I've owned ,it is a little hard to open and slower to respond than my other one but is still the best keyboard/cover that I've seen

The rugged book has protected my iPad from certain destruction and I will remain grateful for that. I love having the keyboard but mine have failed after about a year. Each yearly replacement was due to keyboard failure. For the record… I use this thing constantly all day every day.

Non-functioning keys

I loved the previous editions of the Rugged Book for my previous iPads but this version for my new iPad Air seems as though it was made by a different manufacturer. The materials are different and a number of keys do not work. Specifically the number “6” and the dash key. The number “5” key works intermittently. I will be returning the product.
