I have owned Zagg products for many years and haven’t been disappointed and that includes the Rugged Book. It is a bit on the heavy side but feels like it will stand up to anything I put it through.

Almost perfect

I’ve had Zagg rugged book cases as long as I’ve had iPads. They work - the case will protect the ipad, if it’s dropped. They keyboards are just right for my (small) hands. The only complaint with this one is that the keys make a lot of noise when I’m typing. I take notes in meetings; the keyboard noise is a distraction for others in the meeting. The older version (for the 9.7 inch iPad Air) was quieter. That’s the only flaw in this otherwise wonderful keyboard/case.

My last one only lasted

This keyboard case is perfect. It’s heavy enough to be sturdy, and the keys have enough tactile strength to be satisfactory. I would definitely purchase this again.

I bought this for my daughter when she purchased the new iPad Pro. She loves it. She says it does exactly what she needs. She uses it for college classes and also takes it to work with her as an EMT. The rugged construction makes her confident in the safety of her major purchase.

Hinge is defective and does not allow iPad to move or to close or open without snapping off the keyboard. Returning it, customer service is responsive.
