Great for field use

Great for field use. Like the detachable keyboard. We use our iPads in a Ram Mount within the vehicle. The detachable keyboard makes this even better when sitting in the car.

Keyboard is really nice - there is a small delay between keystroke and letter appearing on screen amd I wish the keyboard stayed physically connected at the hinge rather than detaching easily but overall it’s the best Bluetooth keyboard I’ve used

This is the best Zagg keyboard and cover I’ve ever owned (the 2nd Rugged book actually). After I used others that constantly broke, this one has been awesome and has worked excellent for me. I wish they carried the Rugged book in other sizes. Maybe eventually they will.

Best protection and keyboard for traveling

This is really heavy duty protection, and the keyboard has a great feel. I really like the way it unfolds to open and support my I-pad for typing. Detaching the keyboard is easy and great for using the camera by itself or book reading. Nice upgrade from the original Rugged Book for my 11 inch I-pad Pro.

The first case we got, the keyboard was defective and the top two rows of the keyboard were not working. Zagg quickly send us a replacement at no cost and we returned the one we got. No further issues. My son absolutely LOVES his case with keyboard and uses his iPad even more effectively.

Love this case/keyboard

I love this case for my iPad. Had the non rugged case with keyboard first and I kept breaking my screen protectors every time I’d close it and the keyboard would always fall off super easy if I didn’t have a table. This case is awesome though. Has raised edges to save my screen protector and I can pick the iPad up and move around by the key board because how it’s attached and yet it comes off easily if needed. And it’s just more robust for using the iPad on the go. Highly recommended

Good but Apparently Taking the Apple Approach

Please don't start to be like apple and provide less but yet charge more.
No simple charging cord anymore eh? It's such a cheap part... Why would you exclude it and yet put a holder in the box. Not only is the case more expensive than the last models but doesn't have a charge cord.
Stylus holder weakens the construction. If your going to include it in the construction, then include a cheap stylus to put in its place, otherwise, the shell is weak at the top.
This is coming from working with the original iPad Air cases, which were bullet proof and such a simple design, absolutely perfect.
Keyboard feels nice, and I'm extremely happy that you went back to the simple hinge design instead of the ridiculous flip style. Good idea going with type-C, to match the iPad!
I would give it a 4 with a charge cord and 5 if you include the stylus or design it without it.
