Good enough...

I've previously used the Zagg Rugged MESSENGER for many years, and very much prefer the "touch" of the keyboard on it to the keyboard on the Rugged Book. The Rugged MESSENGER seems to now be out of production/unavailable for this particular iPad (6th generation), so I've switched to the Rugged Book. There's no place for my Apple Pencil (as there was on the MESSENGER), and the feel of the keyboard is "cheap" by comparison, but it's good enough for my purposes -- protects my iPad, and allows me to type instead of "pretend type" on the screen.

Great Product! But..

It works great, and looks great, but the part where you place the pen is kind of flimsy, also noticed a little bit of a delay when you start typing, after you start typing the response is as good as the Apple Magic Keyboard which I use in occasions too.

I bought this specifically for the 11-inch Pro and I could not get the case on the iPad. I checked and double checked that this was the right case for the iPad I have and it was. I ended up returning it and buying a Logitech.

The case does not fit. The fourth GEN is slightly bigger than my old one. My original iPad Pro 11 is slightly smaller. I actually broke the case, trying to get it to fit. That being said, the class is actually too small for the screen also. Double check to make sure that I did order fourth both products they don’t fit.

Wonderful. I have been using these Rugged books for about 8-9 years now. I have had to return a few as the hinges can be weak. This one for the iPad Air 11” seems solid. The top side seems a little lite but with a pencil it stiffens up. I wish sometimes it had a mouse like either an old IBM laptop button or a track pad but not a serious need. Probably end up using it as much as a pencil.

I really enjoy the mor stable design of the screen. I like that it will maintain whatever position I want, so it is more suitable for typing while reclining. Much easier on my neck. The keyboard is wonderful. I feel and ease of use of the keys on the keyboard is great. My 5 yr old rugged book was good, this one tops it!

The case feels very durable, but the hinge is useless. Opening the case with the IPad was fine, but trying to close the case caused the secondary case to continually snap off the hinge. This is a very poor design if you’re trying to emulate a laptop that can open and close easily. I boxed up and returned the case within 5 minutes of use due to the hinge’s poor design.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
