We owned a rugged book for a previous i-pad air which worked very well. Over time, the magnetic connection faded and the two halves would not stay connected. Probably just age and use.
It is a safe housing for an expensive electronic item. The operating keyboard is a very nice touch.

Am 100% satisfied with this device. Essentially it turns my ipad into a mini laptop. Keyboard has the feel of a quality laptop. I like the way I can adjust the angle of my iPad to any angle I want. Battery has an exceedingly long life. Only “con” is that it is heavy, but I suppose that is the trade off for this case being very solid & very protective.

This was my 4th Rugged Cover, all have worked flawlessly, provide great protection for the IPad. The keyboard coverts the IPad into as close as you can get to a laptop.

Poor design with the apple

Poor design with the apple pen storage on the top lip of the case. Retainer strap is in the way and is constantly getting ripped open. Need smooth surfaces.
