iPad upgraded case

I had a lighter weight folio-style case that performed well with just one caveat. The holding clips in the case are a lightweight rigid plastic that simply don't stand the test of time. They are all breaking and the case could not be considered dependable to safeguard my device.
This rugged book case is so much more secure and I feel more confident in its ability to keep my device safe. A bit heavier for sure, but very versatile and functions well after a quick pairing via Bluetooth. Very happy so far.

Made for a MAN

This iPad cover is way too bulky for a woman. I guess they only had a man in mind. They used to have a thin white iPad cover with keyboard, which I’m told they no longer have. That one I’ve had for five years. And it finally started cracking. And I went looking for a new one but they didn’t have it. I do not like this cover.

Not as good as the Rugged Book Go

I’ve recently bought A new iPad so when I went to purchase a new Rugged Book Go, this was the only option available for the iPad that I have. I don’t like the way the keyboard attaches to the iPad case. It’s too clunky. On the “Go” version It’s a simple magnetic hinge which allows for easy removal and attachment. Also there’s no kickstand in the back on this version. I use the keyboard and iPad separately quite a bit and I like being able to stand up the iPad by itself. I’ve looked all over to see if there is something similar to the “Go“ version but there is not. I’ve resorted to caring around the keyboard from this version and just getting a regular iPad case with a kickstand. Cumbersome when transporting, but I’ll make a do.

Great case and easy to use keyboard, but the hinge is tight and it’s heavy. Wish they could streamline design and add trackpad. Still the best combo case around.

Great product to protect your iPad

The second one I’ve purchased for my husband to use at work. He is very rough on his iPad and this protects it well. The only reason I purchased a second one is that he bought a new iPad and the old one was not compatible. They last a long time. Highly recommend!

Compare to Previous Rugged Book

We owned a rugged book for a previous i-pad air which worked very well. Over time, the magnetic connection faded and the two halves would not stay connected. Probably just age and use.
It is a safe housing for an expensive electronic item. The operating keyboard is a very nice touch.
