I just love this printer, it is the easiest to use and it's a cannon! The customer service support was very efficent, I had a little trouble with the first one I purchased so I called and they sent me another one to replace it. I will buy another cannon printer again.
Pros: reliable, Compact Design, Easy Setup, durable, Low Ink Consumption, Lightweight/Portable, Sharp Tones & Colors, easy to use

Wow!! I love this printer. It is so easy to use, and the directions are very easy to follow. I am a novice computer user and still I was able to install this printer by myself and now I have printed pictures from my memory card and they are beautiful.I would recommend this printer to anyone.
Pros: Compact Design, Easy Setup, Lightweight/Portable, Sharp Tones & Colors, fast print speed, easy to use

Installation on network proved very difficult--no adequate instructions. I could not have installed it without my intuitive knowledge of printer installations and going through a manual installation using the on-board display panel for network connection..
I have found nothing to show parts of the printer, what they do, and how they work, neither printed copy nor in online manual. I still don't know what one flit-down part does.
Poor documentation, but otherwise, an excellent purchase: fast, excellent photo printing, delightful features, well designed.
Pros: Compact Design, durable, Lightweight/Portable, Sharp Tones & Colors, fast print speed
Cons: Difficult to use, Difficult Setup, poor documentation

Easy to install, easy to use, high quality printing, easy to find exactly what you want to do and how to do it. I just wish it came with a manual so that I can research what I need to do without opening my computer.

We are so pleased with our Pixma. It prints beautifully. And pictures...they're better than professional. I love that it's wireless as I don't have to have cords everywhere. It is a bit noisy but I don't mind. Yesterday I used the scanner for the first time and it automatically makes it in PDF which is great. Love it.

Cons: High Ink Consumption, noisy, slows my internet connection down when printing

Good value for the price

After using this printer for about 2 months, we have been very satisfied so far. Very nice quality photos, documents, and copies. Fairly easy to use & to set up. A little slow to print, but that may be due to the wireless aspect - this is the 1st wireless printer we have owned. I do like the on-screen prompts on the fold-up screen. We'll see how long the ink lasts versus single-cartridge type as time goes on.
Pros: Easy Setup, Sharp Tones & Colors, easy to use
Cons: Slow Print Speed

Best printer I've owned

This is my second Canon printer. I had a previous model for several years and liked it so well I went with this printer. My scanner died a few months ago, and I need a scanner. So this printer/scanner now fills both functions.
My son-in-law is a bit more technically proficient at computers than I am, so I had him configure my XP network system for me. The printer, though, was ready out of the box, that is with the usual setting up, like putting in the pinter ink cartridges.
The color is wonderful and the type is crystal clear. The scanner works great too--I've used it a number of times.
I like Canon printers because they will print good color on decent paper--you don't have to use photo quality paper all the time to get great color.
This is the first wireless printer I've owned. It works reliably with not problem. Now the whole family can use one printer.
Highly recommended.

This printer is more than I dreamed it would be. It was so easy to set up . The colors are AWSOME. All the pictures I have printer looked beautiful. So FAST & QUITE. LOVE IT. Also it was a very good price for such a wonderful printer.
