Function dials are deceiving. The OFF dial does not work. You have to unplug it to turn it off. Don’t understand why it’s even there? All three dials are loose. I thought it was broken. And both sides get hot. It does not matter if you chose grill or griddle, both sides heat up. It would have worked with just one dial. Other than that it works well. We grill everything! Crossing my fingers that it will last longer than six months.

Mine was a gift, and frankly with a nice Lynx grill in my back yard I thought I would never use it. Then a friend of mine cooked me a steak on his. Wowser. The secret is that it cooks both sides at once for quicker juicier dinners! I recently used it for sausage and eggs, its the best!

It does just about everything. It simple to use. I don’t think you need a lot of bells and whistles. It works great. The griddles come off for easy cleaning. The press also lays flat to get an even press with out slipping. I got this one because family members have it for many years and use it all the time. I also got the waffle plates and they work well. I wish Cuisinart would make them.

I kove grilling outside but when it gets hot I have to cook indoors. Wanted a grill that would give me the same outdoor grill taste. The Griddler is perfect. Easy to clean, and doesn't take up counterspace.

This is one of the most versatile appliances for the kitchen. It makes a fantastic grilled sandwich. It cooks hamburgers quickly and is constructed so as to let the greast drain into a resevoir that is easily cleaned. I use it to fry bacon. It does a great job there since both sides cook at once. I even fry eggs on it. Change plates and you have a waffle iron.

The appliance in general is great overal. It’s a great grill/griddle for the home. Heating options are great. However the push button to remove/flip grill grates has stopped working on mine with only about 5 uses out of it. Need to call for warranty info.

Very nice, but when I used it to grill 90% lean beef patties, the water and grease went all over my countertop. The catch basin was not deep enough to handle it. It does an excellent job with steak, chicken and such -- just with lean ground beef. I was surprised.
