Great grill. It is easy to clean with how the plates can pop off. It is light and easy to move around my kitchen and in to the cabinet. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is it doesn't like to sit flat when in the open position to use both plates as a griddle.

I was disappointed with the performance. I often make batches of mini pancakes. This is the first and only thing I have tried so far on this appliance. the griddle plates did not get hot enough, despite my raising the temperature. It took forever to cook the mini pancakes to the point that I got out my stove top griddle to finish the batch. My use is limited to this, so take this review with that in mind. If anyone has tips, I would appreciate it.

We love that the trays are removable and thus easily cleanable. We love that we can turn the trays for a smooth surface to use as a griddle, or to make paninis without grill marks...this things is so versatile. We purchased waffle trays as well and the waffles we've made have been delicious and it was no hassle to clean up from them given that those trays can also go right into a dishwasher. This things is also the perfect size for a couple, I had a a Breville panini maker which was way too big and heavy for storing in my small galley kitchen. The cuisinart does a great a job making a delicious panini but offers more versatility with easier clean-up (clean-up is extremely annoying when you can't remove the trays) I also don't have to unplug this to turn it off which I also love (whereas the Breville didn't have a turn-off option on knob).

Love this appliance! Comes in handy all the time, makes cooking a lot more easier for me and clean up is a breeze! Was debating between other options but I am extremely happy IO ended up getting this one! Its user friendly, my mom and husband were able to use it on their own without me standing by haha
