Makes the best panini but only fair as a grill because when you open the grill one side is hotter than the other But terrific for making a panini.
The grill looked great when it was new and I kept it on my counter but after using it for awhile it discolored in the front of the Griddler. This was probably due to the heat but would have been good if Cuisinart could have corrected this problem. Now I have to put it in the closet because it looks old and it’s onky about a month old. I did use it a lot but didn’t think it would look old in such a short period of time.
I’ll still take it out of the closet to make a panini but would have liked to leave it on the counter because I think I would use it more often.

I love this thing! I even bought the waffle plates, makes my sandwichs a treat to eat! A nice change of taste for lunch and dinner. The removable plates make for easy cleaning.
