This is a nice little griddler/panini maker. It has so many uses. It is very easy to turn the hot plates and they are very easy to clean. It opens flat for even more cooking space when you are making more servings. It makes french toast, and pancakes among others. The panini side really worked well for hash browns and other things and even just as a grill.

Excellent machine. Had one for years until cleaning lady decided to "scrub the plates" and I couldn't just replace the plates. This new version is even better -- controls more 'logical' and top plate control smoother.

I bought a Cuisinart Griddler 9 years ago and used it regularly fir that period. The pannini grid started to wear (coating) so I bought another Griddler recently and it has been improved (the builtin grease cup among others) and it performs like the original). I am pleased withe the reversible grids as ipposed to the ild configuration of four plates. It is a quality product.

We had grills from 2 other companies before our Griddler. They were OK (we love indoor quick grilling) , but the Griddler is the best yet. It is well made, convenient, versatile and cooks very well. Plus the non-stick grill surfaces are the best we have had also (the others did not clean so easily and showed wear rather quickly). Also the grease drain system is very convenient and mess free.
