Second one that I bought as the first stopped working after 10 yrs. This one may not last as long. The knobs on the front are not as tightly on the machine. More grease seems to go into the area where the elements are at. Does a good job of cooking the food.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I got this for Christmas and have the optional waffle plates as well. It is a great product just a little dissapointed that the Teflon coating is already coming off the panini side. I am very carefill as I don't store them in the grill press and I have a padded sleeve for each that I store them in. I also had wash them. Hopefully replacements arent very expensive as I think I will have to replace then after 3 months of use.
