Trying to save a buck, I purchased a cheaper waffle maker and I quickly returned it. My husband insisted I try the griddler and I have to admit that this was money well spent. I use it several times a week and it's so easy to clean, I absolutely love my griddler!

I have enjoyed using this device for making excellent panninis, and it looks nice on the kitchen counter. The easily detachable, reversible grill/griddle plates work very well.
What I would dearly love to have, is a latch between the two halves, so when I store it standing sideways, it does not try to flop open.
Also, the grease collector tray slides out too easily - needs some kind of detent.
Otherwise, great product!
