There are a couple of design issues that are not making me completely happy, the main one being the panini press isnt designed such that the sandwiches get an overall flat press and end up making a sandwich way skinnier on one side than the other, even on a relatively "short" cheese sandwich. The other issue is the temperature doesn't get hot enough for a good sear on the bread. Regret buying it.

Best purchase ever!!! We purchased the Griddler a year ago when it got too cold to grill outside. We were able to make the most amazing meals and the clean up was exceptionally East. We decided to give the Griddler to our daughter who was leaving for college so that she could enjoy it. We figured that we would get a new one. We got a different style. We were so disappointed. That system set the smoke alarm off in our house multiple times, and we had to return it. Needless to say we went out and bought another Griddler and will never purchase another style.

Returned the product. It did not make anything well. Especially not a panini. My panini, I had to eat with a knife and fork as I could not lift the panini of of the plate. It looked like someone ran over a sandwich with a car.

The plates come out and are easy to clean. Grease falls in a container. Your meat can be reasy in less than 10 minutes. It is sturdy and well made. It doesn’t take up much space. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to cook a quick meal.
