Perfect for making panini-pressed sandwiches

Works perfectly to make panini-pressed sandwiches, however the weight of the upper portion will squish a sandwich with really soft bread so I pre-toast the bread to make it stiffer and then make sandwich and press it. My new favorite kitchen gadget.

I am very disappointed in the product. Instructions were very limited, as were recipes/cooking instructions. I have tried cooking on it several times ... food was barely edible.
