So far I have used it for panini sandwiches only. Way better than my last brand where the plates did not remove and cleaning was difficult. The plates remove for easy cleaning (and can be placed in the dishwasher which I haven't done yet). Next time I will try something with open grill as the hinges allow full flat layout which my other brand did not do. Also like that it has removeable grease trap!

The grates are easily cleaned, just push a button they pop right out. No fumbling with a clip. Cooks perfectly, I would recommend the Griddler over any other grill. I expect to be able to enjoy it for sometime. Does not feel like it was cheaply made.
