I had owned this particular model for many years, it was something I used often. I used the grill side of the dishwasher safe removable plates for many years grilling meats, it was so handy and I didn't have to go outside if the weather was unpleasant to grill many types of meats. Lately my favorite has been grilling thicker boneless center pork loin chops. Simply season and cook until desired doneness. I purchased the exact same model I had enjoyed for many years
