This is a pretty decent griddler. The plates are easy to remove and insert, and they are extremely easy to clean. My only complaint is that there are definitely hot spots and plates don't heat evenly enough to use reliably as a griddle (as opposed to a sandwich press)

Bought this unit as a replacement for an aging George Foreman grill that was losing its teflon coating. Wanted a grill with removable plates, found this one for a comparable price to other units I was looking at. Thoroughly impressed with the Griddler. Have had it about a month and consistently use it 4-6 times each week. Have yet to cook anything that didn't turn out absolutely perfect.
