Lots of features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the Singer C7220 Sewing Machine and let me tell you it's jam packed full of features! As a guy, I never really had an interest in learning how to sew growing up until I took a home economics course in Middle School where I learned how to use a sewing machine to make a basic tote bag. Ever since then, I've had an interest in mending my own clothes and hemming my own pants. As an entry-level sewist, this sewing machine does it all for me. This is a lightweight sewing machine and has a storage compartment where you can store the many included accessories. I particularly like the LCD screen that allows me to breeze through the many settings including the ability to program the machine to sew words into your fabric! This sewing machine has a thread cutter, 1 Lettering Font capability, 1-Step buttonhole creation, 417 stitch applications, and a touch button stitch selection that works with the built in LCD screen. Thankfully, Singer has created many instructional videos and posted them on YouTube to help you learn how to use your new machine! I'm very happy to have this sewing machine and recommend it.

Amazing machine

It's easy to use and has very cool features! It will be an amazing addition to my craft room and I cannot wait to start a new project with it! I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a great machine for a great price!

Easy to use!

still discovering how to use it but are excited about future projects. I love the automatic cutting feature and all the fancy stitches that can be programmed. It's also nice that there are the Get Started videos with easy instructions. I definitely recommend this machine.

Fantastic sewing machine with a ton of features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to receive this product as I have never owned a sewing machine. Unfortunately, they did not provide a paper manual in the box, I had to retrieve one online which is not a big deal. After unboxing, it was extremely easy to setup (basically a plug and play). I watched the get started videos that was provided and it was very informative and easy to follow. However, I wish there was thread provided to start with, but luckily my wife had spools of thread to use. I first tested different stitches on some fabric I had to see if everything works well and it did. I did all the examples that was shown in the videos and it was extremely easy. I love how you can just select the different stitches by pressing a button. Also, you can stitch letters in which I just stitched my name on one of my shirts for fun. The real test for myself and the machine was to hem my pants which I had wanted to do for awhile. I had a pair of slacks that needed to be shortened and so I followed some instructional videos on how to do that. I selected the straight stitch since that seems to be the easiest. I started with a slow speed so I wouldn't mess up and it worked perfectly. Tada, I have hemmed my own pants for the first time. Now I don't have bring it to a tailor to help me with hem pants anymore (money saver). Definitely worth it to have a sewing machine that anyone can easily use. There's still a ton of different stitches that I haven't tried yet, but I am extremely happy with this product. I recommend this sewing machine to anyone and everyone.

Many Stitch Applications!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am certainly not an experienced seamstress but this machine is great for the projects that I do. It has many stitch applications 417 to be exact! Nice LCD screen, with many accessories included. Runs smooth. Owned many other brand of sewing machines in the past and by far this is my favorite. It is so much more advanced and easy to function. Perhaps does more than what I need but gives me more opportunity to expand my sewing skills!

You can make buttonholes and all types of stitches, plus it can stitch words and phrases. It can sew denim, thick fabric with no problem. And really easy to thread too. You will like it as well as I do .

What a great machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a new user of sewing on machines. This Singer machine took a while to get to know all the features because there are so many. It’s a great way to learn how to sew. The guide gets you going and then you can explore on your own. I like that it’s computerized. There are free “get started” videos available on the Singer site which are very helpful. The box includes all the accessories that you need. I just took some sheets of material and used them to practice the various types of stitches you can do. All in all this is a great machine for beginners and advanced users alike. I highly recommend it.

Too many features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had just gotten this new Singer Sewing Machine which is replacing my older singer which I got over 40 years ago. This new machine has so many settings that it will probably take me a long time and several visits to YouTube to rewatch videos on the many options this machine offers. As for the basic hemming this machine does do a great job, I’m also learning other features like cross stitching and embroidery. I’m very excited to learn about everything this machine can do. Like I said in the beginning, my old machine is over 40 years old and didn’t give me any problems and I trust with the quality of my new Singer it will also give me many years of dependable enjoyment
