Singer Model C7250

I received this machine on 9/21/22 and it is junk. Will not stay threaded correctly, clunks loudly, has difficulty sewing thru two layers of material, setting for zig zag hits pressure foot, back stitch button sticks and have to shut off machine to stop. Warranty is only 30 days and you have to pay to ship it to the warranty center. Stay away from this machine
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this a little while ago because I have a few projects I was wanting to do at home. I’m new to sewing but fairly good at figuring things out. I was nervous I’d be overwhelmed with all the different features and figuring it all out, but so far things are going well. It’s not something I’d recommend without reading the instructions and also watching some videos online. I’ve managed to shorten all of my curtains by a few inches and they all look great! The sewing machine made it very easy and painless to accomplish so I’m excited to see what else I can do with this thing. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got a C725 Singer sewing machine, it does everything but the dishes. I am very new to sewing and wanted something that was easy to use, had pro level features & didn't cost an arm & a leg. It's computerized so making a button hole or a zigzag stitch is as simple as touching on the LCD screen. Bobbin location is easy to access and monitor. So many other thoughtful options are built in, it will take a while to learn all the things one can do. I'm excited to level up my sewing skills and with practice and this Singer Sewing Machine, I am on my way.

I'm in love

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine actually sort of blew my mind. It's so lightweight; from the machine itself to the pedal, I couldn't believe how light it was. It's extremely easy to set up and use - threading the machine and winding a bobbin is very similar to my old machine, but much easier. The paperwork includes a web address for a more in-depth user manual, but the instructions for winding a bobbin and threading the machine are on a pictorial 2-page layout. The instructions are also on the machine itself! The needle is SELF THREADING! You just wind the thread around a little clip and it pops it right through the eye of the needle for you.
It includes a bag of notions - extra bobbins, feet, etc. There's a nice little storage compartment in the front of the machine. There's also a large slide plate included in addition to the regular sized one. At the bottom, a couple of little cards slide out and list the stitch library. There's a slider switch in the front that controls the max needle speed, so you don't have to worry about turning into a sewing speed demon with the sensitive pedal if you aren't ready. I spent under 5 minutes learning to wind the bobbin and thread the machine and then I was off and running.
I thought I'd need the manual to figure out the stitches and other buttons, but I didn't - it's fairly self-explanatory and a few button presses told me what I was doing. I tried out some of the decorative stitches on scrap fabric and they are SO cute. I can't wait to use them on tea towels and baby clothes. The first actual sewing I tried was re-hemming a couple of kitchen towels whose hems had come unraveled. It took me about thirty seconds and the needle slid through six layers of terry towel fabric at the hem intersections like butter. You can't even see the seam! And one of my favorite things - when you finish sewing, the needle automatically lifts out of the fabric. No more broken needles from yanking out fabric before checking needle position!
All in all, I couldn't be happier with this machine and I'm looking forward to another decade or two of sewing on my new Singer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, I am a beginner when it comes with working with sewing machines, but this machine was a breeze setting up and sewing! I feel like a master seamstress when I am working with this machine! The accessories that came with the machine are a blessing, the extender helps measure fabrics! Overall, I am highly satisfied with this machine!

Perfect Sewing Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this machine! This is probably the best sewing machine I've ever had. The setup was quick and simple. Stitch options and settings are displayed on an LCD screen. I had no trouble sewing through the four layers of faux fur. The walking foot, which I also tested, is quite effective. The thread has excellent tension. The machine is easy to operate, and the manual's instructions and quick reference are excellent. The pedal is fantastic since it allows the user a lot of control. This sewing machine has made me incredibly happy, and I strongly suggest it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Disclaimer: I was to be sent a 7250 free of charge for this review. I was not. They sent me a 7220. The following review is for that machine.
While a bit confusing out of the box to set up and assemble, the machine was pretty easy to use once I got the hang of it. I found the programmable/selectable stitch patterns quite handy as I'd have no clue how to pull them off otherwise. The needle depth was just about right for my test fabrics, too, without having to do much calibration there. Definitely user-friendly...after set-up, which involved scouring the net for how-tos, because Singer's documentation was lacking.
My big issue with the machine comes from what I'd call "sticking." Every now and then, it just hesitates, just for a moment, like something is getting stuck somewhere. Not wanting to break the thing I'm just learning how to use, I haven't investigated yet. Still, I'm happy with how it's performing just fine and that my non-sewing behind can now look competent without much effort.
I would recommend this to a friend!
