Disappointed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been trying to figure out how to get the Singer HD6380M sewing machine to work properly. The bobbin thread keeps getting bunched up in the bobbin area and any bobbin stitching is very erratic. Filling the bobbin is a simple easy process. Threading the machine is easy enough though I just manually thread it through the needle. The top stitching is relatively straight but could use some adjustment to make it perfect but the bottom stitching is horrendous. I can only stitch a few inches at best before the bobbin area gets jammed up. I am completely disappointed with the machine at this time but will keep trying to resolve this issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The extension table really gives me more room to work. It has a high performance motor that works fast and efficiently. I love how quick I’m able to sew. Singer has high quality products that deliver exceptional results. I’m very happy with this sewing machine and the consistent end results.

Great heavy duty machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Singer HD6380 heavy duty sewing machine makes sewing jeans a breeze! It just sews right through the jean material without bogging down. I love the needle threader on the machine. The easy drop in bobbin and bobbin threader makes sewing so much less hassle. Lots of great accessories are included with this machine!

Wonderful sewing machine

I have repaired some thinner material clothing and it was so easy to use and thread the needle. I absolutely love the fact that it comes with an extension so that if you are using heavier material it doesn't pull while trying to sew. I was amazed at how easy it was to use and can't wait to teach my daughter to sew on it. You can tell that it is very well made so it will last a long time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Tackles heavy duty projects with ease!

On my previous machine thicker materials (denim, heavy canvas, some upholstery fabrics) were a challenge, especially if I needed to go through multiple layers. This Singer solved all those problems. It swiftly moves these heavier weight fabrics right through with ease - I’ve even put some lighter weight leather and suedes through with no problems.
Set up is easy and clear indicators to adjust stitch count. The accessories included are thoughtful and useful. And the addition of the bed extender is a game changer when using heavier weight fabrics.
Don’t be fooled to think this is just for heavy duty projects - it also handles delicate fabrics with care.
Certainly recommend and am excited to use the machine for years to come.

Broken in less than 1 year

I bought it in January and is broken now even though I only sew light cotton fabrics.
I learned that the 1 year warranty is useless, if Singer doesn't have an authorized repair dealer in your area, Singer expects the customer to pay for shipping to send it for repair to an authorized repair shop.
This is the 2nd Singer product that I bought in the last couple of years that were broken in less than a year.
