[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven’t had a sewing machine in years, but with Covid happening I decided I wanted to start sewing again. I absolutely love the ease of using this HD6380, and it was so easy to set up! I’m so happy I got this one because I’ve sewn masks, Kaftans, and quilts with it. The quality of this sewing machine will last me forever!

Love this machine. Got it to replace my Singer Athena 2000 which I had for over 30 years. I needed a heavy duty machine to sew jeans and this works very well. Can sew over the seams with ease. You cannot go wrong with this one I highly recommend and it was a great price.

Noisier than I thought it would be, not like the old black ones! It doesn't come with a presser foot that is great for18" seam allowance. All and all it seems to be a good machine for the money. Heay duty as far as a domestic machine goes!

Not dependable machine

I bought this HD6380M one week today. I completed a very small project to test it. Not heavy fabric. Noise coming from bobbin area a very noisy. I figured it had to work a little being brand new. I checked everything bobbin was in correctly, needle also. It started to bunch up a smidgen underneath. I figured I needed to adjust tension. slightly did then trying stitch on just a piece of fabric it made a loud pop and and bunched up and jammed. I cleaned out thread underneath and changed to a new needle just in case. would not sew past 3 stitches before it jammed again. And now it seems to have a authorized service center look at it I have to ship it to the nearest located over 170 miles from my home. If it costs to much to ship I will bite the bullet and discard the machine and find another machine. BUT IT WILL NOT BE A SINGER.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband bought this machine at the end of august. I didn’t open it till one month later. Used it for approximately a week and a half. When threaded and trying to bring the thread up from the bottom constantly hooks to the side of the bobbin case. I sew up to 9 hours per day and need a reliable machine.

Heavy duty and more features than my old machine

I have always used a singer machine and my old machine was a heavy duty school model. The light on this machine is not bright enough. I need additional light to see as good as my old machine. This one has the needle threader but haven't been able to get this feature to work. I found that the dial for stitch does not line up with marks on the machine. It doesn't click on selected stitches so have to play with it to find stitch want. I am not a beginner so that isn't the issue and my old machine had several stitch selections. The manual had to print out and not much to it but not everyone has a computer to be able to do this. Manual should come with machine and just covers basics and again not everyone has access to on line videos. This one I selected for the more powerful motor for sewing heavier fabrics and leather. It is quieter than old machine and smaller. Had a lot of accessories that came with it and I like the extension table. Bought from you for the 10% rebate but think been better off from store so could have some things explained in person and able to ask questions and tips instead of watching a video.
