Love the watch, big upgrade from the watch 4. Battery life isn't that much better but the gesture features are great. Wish I could have the option for a black band but otherwise, I'm pretty satisfied with the purchase.
Wanted a Galaxy Ultra but price point was still too high for my blood so I settled for the Watch 7 LTE, and i am glad I did. The watch is very stylish.and the choices for the screen display is amazing. So many options. I have only touch the surface for all the configurations that can be picked. My only disappointment is that I couldnt get it in the ORANGE option like the ULTRA. Made very well, and have received many comments on the watch. Love the notifications i get on the watch. Can't wait to change the display every month to something else using the mobile app.
The sensors just seem to work better than the watch 5 that I traded in. Overall, more responsive to my touch also. Comfort is still good also. Well worth the cost of upgrade for me,
I appreciate the versatility of the watch. It hasn't been difficult to adjust from the Fitbit I had previously. The battery life is poor, I haven't found a way to set up functionality to extend battery life in the few weeks I've had the watch. Overall a good product but I won't likely purchase another one unless battery life is improved to at least get through the day.
The watch is great if it's connected to your phone via Bluetooth. Other than texts there's effectively no LTE data capability though. The watch overheated all 3 times I tried streaming a podcast on a walk without my phone. Calls out of phone range kill the battery.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts on the Galaxy Watch7, Zach. We always love hearing from you! If you have an LTE smartwatch model, there are several reasons why it may not activate or may disconnect from your mobile network after pairing it with a new phone. Check out the link attached for options to help troubleshoot this. Whether you're using a phone, tablet, smartwatch, or earbuds, all Galaxy devices have a set temperature range, where they operate at their best. While they may feel warm under certain conditions, like charging, this does not affect the device's lifespan or performance. However, if your devices get too warm, it could cause some issues. We've also attached a link to help troubleshoot this as well. If any of what you are experiencing continues, please reach out to us at Samsung Support. -Kelvin https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01003195/ (LTE) https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10002887/ (overheating) smsng.us/Samsung-Support smsng.us/Facebook-Messenger smsng.us/X-Messages smsng.us/Samsung-Community smsng.us/Warranty-Info smsng.us/Samsung-Care-Plus
Trade-In value was a little lower than I expected but the upgrade from the Frontier3 to the Galaxy 7 has been a great improvement. It isn't as bulky and very user friendly. I use it mainly for fitness/swimming and the ability to stay water-safe is amazing.
