Not what's expected of Samsung

Have had my watch for a month now and the battery is horrible, doesn't even last 10 hours without dying. Supposedly Supposed to have a software update well got it and the battery drains just as bad. All I ever have on extra is the Bluetooth, also notice when I am trying to use the watch just with cellular signal it's constantly disconnects from my phone. That isn't even right since I am supposed to be able to trust this device without having to carry my phone all over.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

There are several reasons why your Galaxy Watch may be experiencing battery drain or have decreased battery life. For example, certain apps can increase battery consumption. If your watch is paired with a Samsung phone you can use Samsung Members to perform a diagnostic on your watch battery. If it passes the test, you'll know the battery is in good condition. Make sure to update your apps. Sometimes apps may have a bug that causes them to use excessive battery, make sure all your apps are up to date for the best performance. We see that you've already updated your watch but we recommend checking once again to make sure there are no new updates available. Samsung offers a 12-month limited warranty for manufacturer defects. We also provide the option to add additional coverage with Samsung Care+ on eligible devices, which offers extended protection and additional support. Long time galaxy watch User. I up grade every year. I miss my Galaxy 6 back. Sleep data is terrible and I miss the rotating bezel.

Simply wear your watch when it’s time to turn in for the night and allow it to monitor and calculate your sleep data, such as your blood oxygen and skin temperature. Your watch can also detect sleep-related breathing disorders, such as sleep apnea. Samsung Health can track your sleep through a connected Wearable, such as a Galaxy Watch. Poor battery life

I bought this around two months ago thinking it would be an upgrade from my watch 5 pro. The improvements are minimal. The bezel is slightly better. The thickness is barely different. The battery is terrible. I wish I hadn't traded in my old watch and its too late to return it. I may have had better luck with the the 7pro but I didn't feel like it presented enough of a value and I hated the rpund/square shape.

Once you know your score, challenge yourself to improve it a little bit every day. We hate to see that you are experiencing a shortened battery life on your watch. The first thing we recommend doing is to updates your apps and the watch itself to the latest software available. From your phone, open the Galaxy Wearable app. Depending on your watch, you will either tap Watch settings or tap SETTINGS tab. Then, tap About watch, and then tap Update watch software. It's cool but I've had it for only a few days and it's dying in a couple hours. Samsung sends me 600 pages of information instead of actually trying to help. Do not recommend. I traded in my old watch so I guess this is my life now. Don't buy unless you have a battery in your arm

A Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) sensor measures body composition, such as skeletal muscle and fat mass. The body composition feature on your Wear OS model Galaxy watch uses a Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) sensor (located on the back of your watch) to send micro-currents to your body. This measures the amount of muscle, fat, and water in your body to give you an overall result that achieves 98% correlation to Dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry scans, similar to commercial standing 8-electrode BIA device accuracy.
