LTE vs Wifi/Bluetooth....know the difference!

While I do love my new watch, I am disappointed that I purchased the watch version that cannot be connected to my current carrier. I did not realize that the LTE option is the one that you CAN connect with your carrier so that it works as a stand alone device. If you purchase the wifi/bluetooth version (which is the one I purchased), be aware that the watch does NOT work as a stand alone and must be within 10 meters (I think that is the distance) of your phone to receive your texts and/or phone calls.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thank you for sharing your experience with the Galaxy Watch7. We’re glad to hear you love your new watch, but we noted your disappointment regarding connectivity options. To clarify, the Galaxy Watch7 comes in two versions: LTE and Wi-Fi/Bluetooth. As you mentioned, the LTE version can function as a stand-alone device when connected to a carrier, while the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth version relies on proximity to your phone for calls and text. If you’re looking for standalone connectivity, you may consider exploring the LTE model. Not happy, disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well I was happy to have the latest watch unfortunately as I search and played with it to find out all it has to offer I noticed the battery not lasting but half of day. I had to do some research online to understand why, I had to give up on the gestures, the knocking, the finher pinch and make the brightness low. I was going to returned it but it was too late I only had 2 weeks to return it to nest buy. Why offer extra things, options, on a tech that will only give you headaches. I could not use it all day, half day I had to charge it, I cant do that.

Thanks for reaching out to share your thoughts on the Galaxy Watch7, NexTech. We always love hearing from our customers and getting your feedback. The Galaxy Watch 7 allows you to challenge yourself during your next run or bike ride with tracking features powered by Galaxy AI. It compares your current performance to your previous results, helping you improve. Additionally, you can enhance your swimming technique using stroke analysis and your SWOLF score. With the new 3nm processor, your daily routine is supercharged, allowing you to quickly switch from checking the weather to tracking your workouts. The improved battery life ensures that the Galaxy Watch 7 can keep up with your active lifestyle. If you're experiencing battery drain or decreased battery life, it could be due to certain apps consuming more power. If your watch is paired with a Samsung phone, you can use the Samsung Members app to perform a diagnostic on your watch's battery. If it passes the test, you'll know the battery is in good condition. Remember to update your apps and software regularly to optimize performance. Check out the link attached for additional options to help optimize your watch's battery life.
