I had hoped that there would be an update for Android over the summer. I have had the phone over 6 months and there has already been an update to Android 2.3.4. There is no way to move apps to the micro sd card without an upgrade to 2.2 so all of the apps I would love to have on my phone slow it down to where I can't use the phone! There needs to be something done... I am not wanting to buy anymore of your products due to this!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, no update released for android
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This phone is great, it works well, easy to use but could use a bit higher RAM or the 2.2 update so you can store apps on the SD card. But all and all the phone is great!!!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: small ram
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best Android Cell in the Marketplace

To start with, I have long nails, which with most touch phones, make it impossible to use. I didn't want a pull out keyboard. Just phone and that's it. I tried a number of different makes and models, including iphone. None worked for me. I read about Samsung Galaxy S, so tried it. It works great. It has Skype and you can even talk and it will write for you on emails and txts. The apps are endless. I finally found what I've been looking for.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, talk & phone writes for you, great camera
I would recommend this to a friend!

Continuum Review

I originally purchased this last week through my carrier.
Upon charging the battery and booting up the device, i was happy.
Everything, from its Android 2.1 OS integration to its own TouchWiz UI synergy was fabulous.
The main pull for me was the average screen size. Unlike the mainstream user community, I'm not all about the screen size. I feel like a mobile device should be mobile, not something that can potentially replace my laptop/netbook. Also the dual touchscreen integration was nifty, so I decided to give it a shot.
Call quality is great for a smart phone. I can hear the caller clearly and the caller can hear me clearly. Its not crystal clear quality, like most of you want (its digitally emulated, its never going to be perfect, given the bandwidth most of the US carriers run on).
One major issue I had with the Continuum is that the battery life is pretty... weak. IT is 1500 mAh battery, which should at least last a day (by day, I mean 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. with moderate device usage) - but it seems to fall short. I do realize that the batteries used by smart phones aren't meant to give you days worth of usage, but falling short of a day is a bit repulsing for me. I didn't use the live wallpaper feature, use it for extensive gaming, or listen to music all day.
To supplement this, there is an option of ordering the 2600 mAh battery with the extended back cover.
I just wish that it also had a separate batter cradle/charger for my other battery, so I can use it when I'm done using the battery I had. I know they can do this for the Continuum because there is a Samsung product like that for other Samsung Android phones.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, best ui to go along with the supported os
Cons: Did not meet expectations, due to extremely low battery life
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love my Samsung Continuum! It's sleek, easy to use and versatile for all my needs. The battery lasts quite well considering how much I use Apps and browsers. The ticker is nice, but not necessarily something I use. I tend to unlock the screen searching for text messages or missed calls. I like the option of the ticker, I may use it more in the future. The touch screen is great and I love the live wallpaper option. Android is wonderful, it has helped me get organized with so many avenues in my life. There is so much more I am learning how to use in the Apps still. Thank you Samsung!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color
