Finally upgrading to get rid of my 3RD Continuum!!

I purchased my 1st Continuum in mid 2011. Since then I have had to have it replaced (thank God for a warranty) because the phone would lock up, I'd be in the middle of a call and it would cut off, the phone would reset itself in the middle of anything whether it was a phone call, browsing the web or Facebook, texting, or checking voice mail. I have had the SAME problems with all 3 phones and heaven forbid you add any "apps" to the phone it only makes it worse. The 1st phone they told me it was something wrong with the phone, the 2nd phone same thing...this 3rd one I finally was able to upgrade and now am waiting on my Droid to come in the mail.
I would not recommend the phone to anyone that doesn't have patience to say the least. And with a son that recently got his drivers license I can't afford to have a cell phone that doesn't work when I need it.
Hoping the Droid is a better phone. I've had SEVERAL Samsung phones and have always been happy with their phones...this is a 1st for me to not be happy with it!
And lastly, when I am on the phone and having a conversation the background noise will be over me talking...drives my husband insane to hear the birds chirping over what I am trying to say and I have to ask him to repeat what he says as well alot of times. Sound quality isn't the best.
I would not recommend the phone to anyone that doesn't have patience to say the least. And with a son that recently got his drivers license I can't afford to have a cell phone that doesn't work when I need it.

Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, easy to use
Cons: Did not meet expectations, cuts off for no reason, locks up, resets itself as if the battery were taken out, the phone picks up every single noise

phone overall is pretty good, freezes and has unexpected errors once in a while but that comes with owning a smartphone i guess. very durible, never had an issue with the screen and i drop it out of my car almost daily, i even tossed it against my garage door from the end of the driveway to prove to a friend how durable it was.
Pros: Durable
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice entry level droid

Great entry level phone, got it for my wife and she has been very happy with it. Has a nice feature set.

Many apps do not work, often freezes

I have had to go to store many times due to frequent freezes. All they ever did was factory reset. and nothing helped.
It took a year before the OS was upgraded, and still never helped.
I became a pro at opening the case to take out battery as that was the only way I could re-start the phone. Some apps never did work on that phone. I have put FB back to the original installed version; I have done its upgrades, FB NEVER would load on this phone. About 1/3 of news sites that I downloaded apps for crashed and never would run.
Cannot see the screen at ALL when outdoors. And many apps are not compatible and cannot even be gotten.
The on-screen keyboard is tiny, and even after I bought a stylus, was unable to text on the thing.
I hate this phone.
So; yesterday, I upgraded at Verizon to S3. I LOVE the S3. But don't spend your money on a Continuum!!!

Worst Phone Ever

Samsung released a real bomb with this one. The phone has been replaced 3 times now, and the same exact problems come up with it. "Battery Not Recognized", frequent crashes, and generally slow.

A Decent "starter" Smartphone ...

My first smartphone - went pretty conservative with the Continuum ... my usage quickly outgrew its performance level ... while it might satisfy some low usage users, I cant wait to upgrade.
Cons: Did not meet expectations

This phone has good features, but its a lil bit slow and hard to get the 2.2 froyo
