[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgraded from a Galaxy Watch5 and it was worth it. The sensors are better and overall clarity in bright light is great. Even though it's the same size (40mm), it looks a little bigger screenwise than previous watch. The screen movements and functions are very fluid and the battery life is pretty awesome. After 10 hours of being off the charger and wearing it at work, it's only down to 84% (mind you, I don't use the Always On Display feature). I haven't really found any cons.

It has saved my life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never been a smart watch person or any watch. I just didn't like having some heavy and bulky things on my wrist while out and about or at work (army) it would always snag on something or get broke. That changed when I was gifted my Galaxy watch 7. It sits flat/low which helps prevent or reduce the amount of time it gets snagged on things. Because it sits low it reduces the bulk and makes it light. The features are my most favorite because I tend to lose things a lot l9l and with the find my phone app connected to my phone i prevent my wife from making me sleep on couch. The other reason it's amazing is while out a FTX (field training exercise i had forgotten my cell phone in my truck and while out in the woods playing the bad guys i twisted my ankle severely and couldn't walk on it. Thankfully I had my watch which has its own service plan allowing me to text or call without my cellphone with me. So I was able to call and get them to come help get me out. It literally started raining 1hr after they got me out and I would have had a bad night if not for my watch. So not only do I thank samsung but my wife and kids also thank you. They are my life and I couldn't imagine making a little mistake and not getting out causing them to lose their daddy and wife's husband partner and best friend. Again THANK YOU cause that alone is a win for me.
★☆☆☆☆ This watch is a disaster in a sleek disguise. Battery life is abysmal — I’m charging it more than I’m using it. The interface is laggy, the sensors are wildly inaccurate, and half the features feel like unfinished beta tests. I’ve had smoother experiences with dollar store toys. It’s trying so hard to be everything that it ends up being good at absolutely nothing. This is not a smartwatch — it’s a smart disappointment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Clarity and Updated Screen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using the Galaxy Watch 4 for over three years, I was initially furious at the thought of upgrading. My Watch 4 had become a staple in my routine, and I wasn’t eager to change something that already worked well. However, after switching to the Galaxy Watch 7, I’m genuinely blown away and I can say this upgrade was more than worth it.
The display is stunning. The screen is noticeably more vivid, sharp, and responsive. Whether I’m glancing at a calendar event, reviewing my daily agenda, or checking notifications during a meeting, everything is crisper and easier to read even in bright daylight. It genuinely feels like a mini smartphone on my wrist. I'm in love.
What truly sets the Galaxy Watch 7 apart is Galaxy AI. It has become a game-changer for my work and school life. I can ask it to summarize emails, remind me of key points for a briefing, or even generate quick notes and to-dos based on my voice prompts. It’s incredibly useful when I’m multitasking or in environments where I can’t be on my phone or laptop. The AI even suggests wellness tips or breaks when my stress levels are high during long shifts.
For everyday life, the Watch 7 feels smarter and more intuitive. The improved battery life means I’m not scrambling for a charger every night, and the health tracking is far more accurate than my older model.
As an officer, I need a heavy duty strap to weather through sweat, an arrest or weather changes. The green strap is just that would detailed grooves.
