seems really cheaply made, thought cuisinart would be a bit heavier? waffles are fine... wish there was an audible alarm instead of just lights, for ready to cook, and DONE.

After a number of brand name waffle makers failed after just a few months, we kept looking. We had been staying away from Cuisinart because of the price. When we found a Cuisinart waffle maker at a low price, we were both excited and sceptical. The first time we used it, we were extremely pleased by the ease of use and how well the waffles came out. The second use increased our belief that we had finally found a great waffle maker. When we need other small appliances for the kitchen, we will definitely be looking at Cuisinart!
