So far so good, the startup smell was difficult to deal with, but the included material lets you know to expect it which was helpful. It did a great job with the waffles, they turned out really good.
I was looking for an economical waffle iron, we don't do waffles often enough that I wanted to get anything fancy. I also wasn't interested in one that I had to flip the whole cooker over to get my waffles done.

This is my second- repurchased the same one because it is terrific. Makes great waffles (can cook soft or crisp) and is easy to clean. It is a great little waffle maker. I'm not sure how long I have had my original one, but it has been years- more than 10!
