The plastic broke off on the first use. It is very flimsy and when closing the machine, I guess too much force was used. And the handle completely broke off.

I keep going back to this waffle maker because I love a thinner waffle and that's what i get with the Cuisinart Classic Waffle Maker. I don't know why so many others think the Belgian style waffle is what people want. They're too thick for me.

I'm happy with this waffle iron. The only thing I would change is to have the settings lock in. They are very loose. It does make good waffles though.

It’s a great waffle maker. Definitely not Belgium waffles that have the deep ridges and thick crust but more of a light feel where you can make thin and crispy waffles that aren’t so dense. Has a great automatic timer.
