Perfect size. There’s no guessing when the waffle is done. I like the thinner (not Belgian waffle thick) style waffle. It’s like my mom used to make, but with modern features.

I got this waffle iron to replace an old Oster I had. Having experience with Cuisinart products, I figured it would be good. The first time I used it it gave off a strong chemical smell. In reading the manual, I saw that that was to be expected but would go away. It DOES cook the waffles quickly and they come out crisp the way I like them… HOWEVER, after 5 or 6 uses that smell is still there. My husband is convinced that the waffles also have a strange taste and that it is because of whatever the chemical is that makes the smell… I assume it’s the non stick coating? Nonetheless, we are now afraid to use it.

Simple, effective waffle maker for a great price. Plug it in, no on and off button. Set the dial to whatever setting for crispness you like and it heats up really quickly. The slide button is a little loose, but seems to keep the temp exactly where I punch it to and the wake flies come out evenly done every time. I love having a three year warranty also.

This is the second one I have owned, having used the first one to death for many years. The pluses of this waffle maker are: it's easy to use, easy to clean, makes waffles fast, and it's a simple but elegant design.

I wanted fresher waffles and I got a good deal on this. At first I used too much mix, but after I realized that, I get perfect waffles. Non stick makes for very little clean up too
