I purchased a month ago and have used the iron once. Very pleased with the waffle size. The iron heats up quickly and like the light feature letting me know when to pour in the batter. Once the waffle is cooked to the desired setting the green light comes on.

I bought this waffle maker because of the former trusted name of Cuisinart but disappointed in the quality control. The lever to adjust the cooking time had a huge play in it. Also the rear hinge also had a lot of play in it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
