Bought it to replace an older Cuisinart that was old, crusty and oily. Had it for many years. Loved it though since I had great success making the Belgium waffles (Krusteaz brand) in it.
All other waffle makers I purchased did a terrible job on the Belgium waffles. So went back to buy the same Cuisinart waffle iron I had and am not disappointed.
