We earned this product by collecting stamps in a grocery store promotion. It was to be a backup to the 50 year old waffle maker I inherited from my parents (still works very well). This product is now our go to waffle maker. It is so much faster than the old one. Waffles taste lighter and fluffier even though we use the same waffle mix.

Top of the waffle iron was odd: rickety and weird, just did not fit right. I thought the product I had gotten must have been faulty but, when reading f other reviews, I realized the poorly connected top was a design flaw. Very disappointing.
