It works very well and is fairly fast. Waffles are uniform darkness but the sweet spot is just above "4" setting. My only gripe is that it's manufacturing feels too light and the slide control flimsy. It's size makes it easy to store.

This is my second of the same waffle iron. My first lasted 20 years and was used almost weekly. I only replaces it because the non-stick coating started to wear off. It cooks great waffles and I will buy it again in 20 years.

The waffle maker came with minimal instructions for use. We had to look online to even find out what temperature setting to use and the amount of batter for each waffle, which was rather inconvenient. It was easy to use the waffle maker, the waffles turned out evenly brown, and it was very easy to clean after it was cool (just a wipe with a damp paper towel). Hopefully it will give me many years of use.

I have used this appliance several times and it makes good waffles. They are portioned pretty well for one person, a double waffle and do not take long to cook. The surface can be sprayed with oil and will release the waffle without sticking. The thermostat works and can set the degree of doneness. The only complaint is that it is difficult to know how much batter to use without spilling over the edge as it expands as it cooks. That is about what you can ask of such an appliance
