My original (no idea when I got it but it could have been decades ago) Cusinart waffle maker finally gave out. One wire to the upper griddle broke at the pivot point although it was pretty well protected so the upper griddle wasn’t heating (you could still make waffles by letting the upper griddle warm up for a while. The replacement is somewhat lighter but the waffle quality is still excellent. I was delighted to discover after all this time that the two slots, one each in the upper and lower half opposite each other, are where the prongs of the plug go when you wrap the electrical cord about the bottom of the unit. Very clever but inobvious. I also didn’t realize that you can stand it on end.

I love my Cuisinart Waffle Maker. They turn out perfect every time and I don’t have to flip the waffle maker. The waffles are a bit thinner. I am so happy that I made this purchase.

Love the classic (opposed to Belgian) waffle maker. Works great, quick, easy to use, really nothing much to clean after use. I prefer crispy waffles & even at highest setting this machine is a less done than I like- just a matter of leaving it to cook an additional minute after “done” indicator comes on.
