Great waffle iron but design flawed for storage.

The waffle iron itself works great. Quick and always cooked through thoroughly. Easy cleanup. The only bad thing about it is that there’s no type of latching mechanism to keep it from flipping open when storing it, so it doesn’t allow for space saving in the cupboard.

This waffle maker was advertised as a Belgin waffle maker however when I received it, it did not have the deep holes of a classic Belgin waffle maker. I does a great job, I like the settings feature, it works great. I wish it made the deep pockets but other than that I am very satisfied.
