Decided to start making my own waffles and save some $$ and went with Cuisinart. Once I figured out how much mix to apply it was super easy to get great tasting (and looking) waffles each and every time. The maintenance on this waffle maker is about as simple as you can get with almost no cleaning required. I'd say it is almost foolproof! Well worth the purchase.

The waffle iron works well but gave it 3 stars because of the terrible smell when heating up. I thought it was just the original burn off in the first use but it still smells terrible!! It smells up the whole house for 2-3 days. Believe Its around 2-3 months okd now.
